We are a jet ski community that provides resources to PWC operators to promote safe navigation in our Sarasota County waterways. Using information provided on official county and state websites, we created Jetskisarasota.org's PWC Pre-Ride Safety Guide. The guide provides education on conscious awareness of our local marine life with resources to understanding local waterway laws and access to the required boater course online. Upon pledging the completion of our study guide and Florida safe boating certification, we offer community resources from our trusted partners and vendors. The result of our effort is increased knowledge in the PWC community to help promote a safer Sarasota waterway experience.
Once you've completed your pledge it's time to plan an adventure with quality dependable water sports equipment. From owners seeking resources for repairs or parts on their own PWC's, to those looking for recommendations on hourly jet ski rentals or tours, we welcome you.
There are many resources for this online and some gouges that come with them to. Our community suggestion is boat-ed. It's safe, trusted, and easy to go through. Click the link bellow to leave our community and head to their sign-up page.
Here are a few of the popular questions we are asked about our local jet ski rental community. For all other questions use the contact form below.
Yes, training is all a part of the jet ski rental experience required by the state of Florida. The attendants instructing on jet ski operation are required to have a lIvery certification. Instructors can also help you improve your skills and have more fun out on the water so make sure to pay good attention to their demonstrations.
This is a wonderful question. First sign of a jet ski rental company to stay away from is their location. If any jet ski rental company in Sarasota County does not have a place of business with their jet skis in the water on site, they are not operating legally. Any jet ski company that offers delivery to any public location such as beach, park, or boat ramp in Sarasota County including Siesta Key and the city of Sarasota should be reported immediately to the local FWC.
Yes, we recommend reserving jet ski equipment in advance to guarantee availability. You can easily reserve equipment online or by booking through our favorite jet ski rental company in Sarasota and Siesta Key, Siesta Skis or calling them at 941-500-5250.
